At ShurFire Solar, we pride ourselves on helping the residential customer understand what they are buying. That’s why we have hired solar processors to provide the information you need to make an informed decision.
There is so much misinformation about solar in the marketplace, that we enjoy taking on the role of educating the customer. Explaining things in a simple way, so they can understand the true benefits of the investment they are making.
Everyone has a slightly different understanding of solar and how it works, but not to worry, we have you covered. Our solar processors are trained by Sunpower to help make the process simple and easy to understand.
Once an appointment is scheduled, the solar processors are there to provide options and answer any questions that arise during the appointment. They come to you with prepared proposals that Sunpower has designed and all you have to do is choose the system that best fits your needs.
If for some reason you need a larger or smaller system than one of the options designed, the solar processors are experienced with the Sunpower software and can make any changes right on the spot.
Once you have chosen the perfect system for you, the solar processors are there to help guide you through completing the paperwork to get you started and on your way to generating power for your home.
The solar processors make it very simple to sign up for solar and then Sunpower will be sending you a welcome letter in addition to any correspondence regarding your system.
At ShurFire Solar we are with you every step of the way, even though you can communicate with Sunpower directly. We are always there to help you if for some reason you can’t contact Sunpower.
Take a look at the steps below. This will give you a good understanding of the process and how easy it is to go solar once you have decided on the perfect system.
Simple and Easy
Complete The Agreement
Once you have made the decision on the perfect system for your house, we will go over the terms of the agreement and answer any questions you might have. I know that once you review the agreement, you will feel very comfortable knowing that your system has the best warranty in the industry.
Site Survey
Even though our software is extremely accurate in determining measurements of your roof and any obstructions that are there, we don’t rely on that. One of our Site Engineers comes to your home at a scheduled time to perform an inspection. In this inspection, he will take final measurements and possibly need to look in your attic to make sure the roof is sound enough to handle the weight of the system.
Installation, YES!
A professional install crew will be installing your new system on a scheduled date that you agreed upon. Can you feel the excitement of those panels on your roof? At ShurFire Solar, we are as excited as you are. You are one step away from generating your own power.
In this step are two inspections that will occur. The first is by the city and they will inspect the system to make sure it is following code. The second inspection is by your utility. They will check to make sure all connections to their grid is in working order. Once both inspections are complete and you are issued a “GreenTag”, you are ready for the last step.
Permission To Operate
The day you’ve been waiting for!!! You will receive communication from the utility giving you the go ahead to turn your system on. They call it Permission To Operate. It’s really simple and we walk you through the steps to turn it on.
Congratulations!!
You now have gone through all the steps and if you think about it, they were all Simple.
Now you can begin to enjoy your solar system producing clean, cheap energy for years to come.
We are thrilled for you and look forward to taking care of any referrals you send our way.
Referrals are the best form of flattery, but we understand that it has to be earned.
I hope we have earned it!
